ST. JOAN OF ARC TRACK TEAM - UPDATED FALL, 2008 SCHEDULE

Parents and Team Members:
We want to provide you with an updated schedule through
the end of 2008, and beginning of the new year. A location for an indoor
practice facility has not been finalized; we will keep you posted on our
progress in finding a place.
We will meet at the following locations in the coming weeks:
Saturday,
November 22 – Astoria Park Track* – Meet at IS 145 at 9 AM
Saturday, November 29 –
No Practice
Saturday, December 6 –
Astoria Park Track – Meet at IS 145 at 9 AM
Saturday, December 13 –
Run/Walk around the Central Park Reservoir – details to be announced
Saturday, December 20 – No Practice
Saturday, December 27 –
No Practice
Saturday, January 3 –
Practice will be held at a location to be announced
If the weather is uncertain, please call Bob or Mary after 8
AM to confirm whether practice will be held.
As a reminder, we need help from parents to provide
transportation to the practices at Astoria Park. Please stop by IS 145 to see
if anyone needs a ride.

* DIRECTIONS TO ASTORIA PARK TRACK
Take the
Grand Central Parkway westbound to the Hoyt Avenue exit (before the Triborough
Bridge). At the top of the exit ramp, proceed straight ahead, beneath the BMT
train trestle, in the general direction of the Triborough Bridge ramp. DO NOT
take the ramp onto the bridge, but stay to the right of the ramp and continue to
proceed straight ahead along Hoyt Avenue a few blocks until you reach the
Astoria Park parking lot. The Astoria Park track is adjacent to the parking lot,
beneath the bridge to your left.
